Himawari was born into a line of proud Kugane merchants, an unexpected daughter that crushed their dreams of raising a male successor to their business. In her youth, parents never spared her a second glance, too focused on their dealings to worry about taking care of their own family. Her only companions during that time were one of her father’s clients, a wealthy Viera couple that doted on her, even gifting Himawari her first gift. It was a tattered stuffed bunny that she named Aiko, which she still sleeps with every night.When that couple offered to adopt Himawari on her 6th birthday, her parents were ecstatic to finally offload her onto someone else, even smiling at Himawari for the first time in her life.It didn’t take Himawari long to settle into her new life, even moreso when her new parents introduced her to her siblings, an older brother and sister that loved their new sister at first sight. They gave her the nickname Bunni, after the stuffed animal that she would always carry with her. From snacks to new clothes, her adopted family stopped at nothing to make sure she had anything she wanted, treating her like a princess and admittedly spoiling her to the point she really thought she was one.As she grew older, she began exploring the world on her own, sometimes worrying her brother and sister who came along to make sure she doesn’t get into any trouble. At the moment, she’s digging into her mercantile roots, scrounging together gil however she can to finally afford her dream mansion.
